TradeSmart Safety Warranty Terms and Conditions


The TradeSmart Guarantee

TradeSmart guarantees that the mechanical parts of our products are free from defects in terms of materials and/or workmanship. If one of our products that you purchased fails due to reasons stated above, we will replace your product or provide a full refund, at our discretion, provided you are the original buyer and remain the sole owner of the product at the time of your request.

Are You Covered by the TradeSmart Guarantee?

You must register your 10-year warranty within 30 days of receiving your order. This is only possible if you’ve bought your TradeSmart safety gear directly from TradeSmart or from an authorized dealer.

Are You Eligible for a Refund or Product Replacement Request?

To receive a replacement product or a refund when you encounter an issue with your purchased TradeSmart gear, the following requirements must be met: 

  1. Your TradeSmart product failed as a result of defective materials or workmanship;
  2. Your TradeSmart product failed under normal use;
  3. You are the original buyer and sole product owner.

Required Information for Your Request

In order for your request to be considered, please prepare the following:

  1. Your full name; 
  2. Your email address;
  3. Original invoice number;
  4. Clear photos of the defect/product.

What is Not Covered Under the TradeSmart Guarantee

Our guarantee does not cover damages that result from misuse or abuse of the product. 

For example, running your headset over with your truck as you leave the range is not covered. Also, letting your Labrador wear them during the 4th of July is super sweet, but if Max decides they’re a great chew toy afterwards… no warranty. 

  • Expected wear and tear or damages such as abrasion, scratches or fading. 
  • Incidental or consequential damages, such as damage to other items that come into contact with your Tradesmart product, or loss of, the contents of a case, loss of use, loss of time, or similar expenses.

The warranty also does not cover any TradeSmart products that are not purchased from a TradeSmart authorized reseller. The following are authorized resellers of TradeSmart products:

We know your safety gear has to withstand a lot – which is why we make ours tough. That said, all products will still scuff, dint, and scratch as they are used. This kind of wear and tear is not covered. 

Our safety glasses are coated with a scratch-resistant chemical, but it doesn’t turn your lenses into diamond-like surfaces. They can still get scratched (just like diamonds, and those go for a bit more than $24.99). 

Ear cushions on our earmuffs wear out over time. Earplugs are only rated as a one use item and lose their elasticity if they are washed in a washing machine for example.


  • Provided you registered your 10-year warranty within 30 days of receiving your product, you are eligible to send in a warranty claim request. If your product is indeed defunct (at our discretion) as a result of defective materials and/or workmanship, you will receive a replacement product or a full refund. 
  • Standard wear and tear (scuffing, denting, scratching, abrasion, fading, etc.) as well as incidental or consequential damages, e.g. damages to other items/products that come into contact with TradeSmart gear is not covered under this warranty policy. 
  • TradeSmart alone holds the full rights to decide whether or not your refund or product replacement request is valid.
